Fic: This is the Hour of Lead
Saturday, 26 January 2013 21:24 Title: This is the Hour of Lead
A/N: Based on my earlier fic Survivors (which is actually the first section of this fic), this is a Buffy the Vampire Slayer zombie AU. The name "Walkers" was inspired by the graphic novel and TV sho The Walking Dead, but not really, because they call zombies "geeks" there. Also, this fic takes place in 2005 or later (because Willow and Oz make references to things that didn't exist before 2005), so both characters are in their early to mid 20s. Final note: the title comes from the Emily Dickinson poem "After Great Pain," which is all about mourning a lost loved one
Edit: The spacing in this is such a giant mess, but I've edited it a million times, so I give up. It doesn't make much of a difference, anyways.
Characters: Willow Rosenberg, Daniel "Oz" Osbourne, zombie!Xander Harris
Pairing: Oz/Willow
Rating: PG-13, for zombie related violence + death
Word Count: 5,533
Word Count: 5,533
Summary: Zombie AU, in which Willow, still recovering from the loss of her best friend, rescues Oz from zombies after the world has already gone to hell, and they survive together.
Disclaimer: Willow, Oz, and any other people or places mentioned in this unofficial fanwork are property of Joss Whedon and Mutant Enemy. Not mine. Except for The Walking Dead. That's Robert Kirkman's.
